I am a first-year Master’s student at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), pursuing the Master of Science in Machine Learning program.
Previously, I worked as a Quantitative Researcher at Kivi Capital, developing algorithms for trading in the capital markets. I graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK) in 2020, with a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering with minors in Machine Learning and Applications and Computer Systems.
I have worked on developing machine learning techniques for learning disabilities under the supervision of Prof. Pierre Dillenbourg, Computer-Human Interaction in Learning and Instruction (CHILI) Lab, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) during my research internship (Summer@EPFL 2019) and semester exchange (Fall 2019, in Computer Science) programs at EPFL.
I have contributed to the open-source probabilistic programming library Turing.jl as part of the Julia Seasons of Contributions program. I have done projects in Robotics under Prof. Ketan Rajawat (IITK). I did interns at Auquan Inc. and Kritsnam Technologies. I have also done projects on Machine Learning at IITK. For more details, please have a look at my resume here.
I like discussions on philosophy. I love playing Table Tennis. Do contact me if you are up for a match or two ;)
